Guest guest
I had a reaction to the original oregon chai tea. It has what is equivilant to MSG. I believe it is called natural flavors? hot cocoa I do what my dad did for us every Sunday morning before church. Heat whole milk slowly on the stove and add a bit of chocolate sauce (organic Ahhlaska! and other are at the co-op). Yummy. An alternative is chai tea. Oregon chai and milk (1 part chai 2 parts milk make it less sweet) is also a nice warm sweet drink for cold nights. Pagitt naturalhealthcoach@... Guest guest
Healthy Hot CocoaBy Cait , author of Witch in the Kitchen (Inner Traditions, 2001). Simple Solution Hurray! Science has confirmed that drinking anti-oxidant-packed hot cocoa is even better for us than green tea! Most packaged cocoa mixes aren’t so healthy, though--so try this better-for-you simple hot cocoa recipe and warm yourself all the way down to your toes: INGREDIENTS 2 cups rice milk, 2 heaping tablespoons organic fair trade pure dark-chocolate cocoa powder, more or less to tastePure maple syrup, to taste (some of us prefer a sweeter cocoa) 1. Heat the milk in a saucepan and add cocoa powder, whisking to combine. 2. Add maple syrup to taste, stir again, pour into a large mug, and serve hot. Makes 1 serving. Suzi What is a weed?
