Could you recommend a lotion to use during the day? I used to use Shikai Dry Skin Lotion but don't know if that is ok on the program? > > http://www.iherb.com/Shikai-Borage-Dry-Skin-Therapy-Lotion-8-fl-oz-238-ml/6781?a\ t=0 > > I am doing the skin brushing and just started again on the epsom salt baths. +++Hi Lynn. No, that isn't a good skin lotion to use since it contains safflower seed oil, which is a man-made unnatural fat we shouldn't consume nor put it on our skin. The skin readily absorbs any substance. You can also apply coconut oil during the day; it doesn't stay oily very long since the skin soaks it up, but you need so very little of it. I use it as a moisturizer on my face, and by the time I put on makeup it isn't oily. There are very good Coconut Oil lotions available too: http://www.tropicaltraditions.com/organic_skin_care_products.htm Shea Butter products are also good, depending upon other ingredients in them. I suggest you try aloe vera to sooth itching. You can pat on some baking soda after you apply coconut oil or another lotion which helps with itching, and also take baking soda baths. All the best, Bee
