Guest guest
I do the same kale salad except I use the dreaded salt to massage the kale and make it a little less tough Would shredding it in a food processor help? I did that last night with cabbage and beet greens. Came out finely shredded and was really good. Not pulverize it...just shred it. Guest guest
Gloria - don't know, never have tried. I'm just a salt freak anyway and any excuse to eat salt is good enough for me! I like the long strings anyway. I roll the kale longwise and then slice thinly crosswise for a chiffonade type cut. Shari
Guest guest
I tend to agree, though we do use salt on occassion. When we do, it is sea salt. I very seldom if ever use it, but my wife and son do at times when I am not looking. I like to dehydrate celery and pulverize it in my " specially-set-aside- for-this-type-of-stuff " coffee grinder. It makes a fantastic salt substitute! Peace, love, laughter > > This has been discussed before and I'm sure Don can elaborate on it, but salt is not good for us. None. No salt. Period. Sodium can be obtained in food, such as celery and the likes. > > Shari
