Vit E high doses will gradually remove scars. After 1000 IU a day for many years - my leg which had gangrene hardly looks scarred at all. (Used to look terrible - it was slated for amputation back in 1984 due to gangrene knee to hip.) Nor do I have the stretch marks that normally are standard with cushing's syndrome - which confuses my endocrinologist no end :-)) Also homeopathic Thiosinaminum low potency like 4C made aqueous, daily dose, will remove scar tissue. I'll add below how to do aqueous dosing with a homeopathic remedy. A source for remedies in USA is Dolisos 1-800-365-4767 or homeopathyovernight.com The latter will export, not the former. > To be specific a friend had tendon repair > surgery on her foot and too much scar tissue cases pain as it traps > the tendon. A homeopathic tendon remedy would be ideal but that would need a homeopathic consult to find the right one for her. The above are general suggestions. I sympathize - had plantar fasciitis myself - also tendon pain of the foot - it's not fun. I fixed mine with homeopathy - including the bone spurs. Use filtered or spring water or distilled, or if all you have is tap water let it stand an hour first to dissipate chlorine then add it. * Get the solid remedy to dissolve. * Now " succuss " it one hundred times. Succuss means to shake it hard, stopping against something, like a phone book for example. So basically you shake hard 100 times against a book. Do not skip this step, it " potentizes " the remedy - Chemically it clumps the water molecules and we know this is necessary and that the remedy is weak if this is not done. * Label the bottle using scotch tape all round it. * Keep the bottle in the fridge as it has no preservative. * Usual dose is ml by mouth for peop[le (0.5 ml for cats). * Succuss 20 times between doses. Do not skip this succussion between doses. It keeps the remedy active. ---------------------------------------------------------------------

I hear you but the benefits far outweigh the risks. If you also take Fish oil, olive oil, and eat a non-inflammatory diet (non-inflammatory at cell level as described by Dr Perricone) you will have supple healthy cell walls and no risk of bleeding unexpectedly. I've been using 1000 IU daily since 1998 and have not had a bleeding problem. One needs to decide what's more important - scar tissue is not beneficial! If you are really concerned, keep some homeopathic calendula tincture on hand - it will stop external bleeding. And if you fear internal bleeding - that will be stopped by homeopathic Lachesis 200C (even if the bleeding is from rat poison or snake venom). Even rescue remedy will help an emergency bleed. Vit E itself helps prevent the kind of problems that result in bleeds however so I can't see harm in using it. (Despite the nonsense " research " in a recent newspaper article or somewhere that tries to suggest VIt e does not have the whole string of benefits it is known for.) Does anyone on this wonderful list have any advise or information that I could pass on to my friend regarding her friend? Anything that anyone can suggest would be appreciated. Suzi What is a weed?
