It is closely related to the common aspirin. It is great for fever, chills, and rheumatism or arthritis.It can be used both externally and internally.In addition, White Willow bark can be used for stomach troubles, sour stomach, heartburn, and to help prevent vomiting. It will increase the flow of urine, can be made into a tea to be used as an eye wash, to stop bleeding wounds, nosebleeds, and the spitting up of blood.To prepare a decoction, soak 1-3 tsp. of bark in a cup of water for 3-4 hours and then bring it to a boil. Drink this tea only a mouthful at a time, unsweetened. Drink only about 1 cup total per day. Suzi What is a weed?
