Guest guest
Natural Health Newsletter Randall Neustaedter OMD Your New Year's Resolution If you are planning to lose weight and get in better shape this year, here are my suggestions. The fastest, surest, and easiest way to shed fat is to stop eating starches (grains, corn, and potatoes). That means eliminate all wheat products including bread, pasta, cookies, crackers, pizza. Stop sweetened foods including sodas, candy, and juice drinks. Eliminate alcohol, or limit yourself to two glasses of wine per week. Rely on vegetables, fruit, and protein products for your entire diet. Protein foods include beans, nuts, eggs, dairy (yogurt, cheese, milk), chicken, turkey, beef, pork, and other animals. Eat organic animal products whenever possible, and as many organic plant products as possible. Do not eat fish. Do not eat soy. If you are a vegetarian, then you need to consult a health care provider knowledgeable in nutrition to supplement your diet. Exercise at least three times per week, preferably daily. Do some form of aerobic exercise, and if you cannot, then walk every day, do yoga, or tai chi. Follow this simple program and you will not need to spend money on weight loss programs. For written materials I recommend The No-Grain Diet and Total Health books by ph Mercola. Have a wonderful, healthy year filled with activities that nourish your energy and bring you happiness.
