There are very very minute amounts of aflatoxins

on American peanut crops’ outer shells. It is a by product of

naturally occurring fungus. It definitely is a toxin, as is a lot of

stuff we consume. Fungi love moist environments so if you really want to

avoid mycotoxins as much as possible, look for produce from drier climate

countries.
