Guest guest
I have never been to Denver, but why not try? Peppers are actually perennials, so you can get them in the ground as soon as you can, then if it starts to get too cool at nights, cover them at night to keep in the warmth. Make hills at about 40 degrees in slope facing about south. That will keep the warmer too. Against all odds, I ate my first squashes from plants on rows like that. They had been in the ground less than a month and yielded squash. I was pleasantly surprised! Guest guest
I would plant the outside when the night time temps will be over 50 degrees. They will be fine.
