It is said to enlarge blood vessels and increase reflex excitability in the sacral (lower) region of the spinal cord. It has the ability to increase the blood flow to the genitals, both male and female. It is said to stimulate the pelvic nerve ganglia, increase libido, increase sensation and increase stamina. It may boost the adrenaline supply to nerve endings. Yohimbe bark contains 6% yohimbine. It needs to be used with caution because it can increase the heart rate, body temperature and blood pressure.The main influence of Yohimbe bark is on the male reproductive system, arteries, veins, intestines legs and skin.Do not use if you have a heart problem, kidney disease, glaucoma or have gastric or duodenal ulcers.
