Guest guest
You may have done some damage... Got any super tonic? Take it every couple hours.. Also the dried pulp snuffed will open your head... Try tea tree, eculyptus and peppermint oil in water... boil and sniff the steam... Also, Sinus & Congestion TeaHere is a nice formula to use for sinus headaches and congestion. It works like a charm! 1oz. Elder flower 1 oz. Eyebright 1 oz. Echinacea herb 1/2 oz. Orange peel 1/2 oz. Dandelion leaf 1/4 oz. Goldenrod To make: Mix all herbs together in a jar. Put 1 tsp. herb in a cup and fill with boiling water. Cover and steep about 20 minutes. Traditionally dosage is 1 cup, 3-4 times a day. You should get relief within a day but continue to take for a number of days if you know when allergies are worst for you (Spring, Fall), you take 3-4 months before that season begins as a preventative. I'll say a prayer for Kitty.. I just lost my baby goat (the one who lost his mom.. He was always "slow" and he passed away while I was camping.. Guess mom needed him with her. His sister is doing fine and was twice his size. I am finally getting some movement of phlegm and mucus in my nose, but I've been struggling to blow and to breathe for a week or so. Just the last couple of days I've noticed that the insides of my nose feel bruised, enough that when i scrunch my nose it hurts like crazy, and aches in the evening. Badly enough I have trouble sleeping. It feels like the membranes just above the bones inside have been damaged and I'm not sure what to do.Perhaps I did some damage blowing so hard the last few days?Any thoughts?Thank you friends - Anne(oh, and if you don't mind, I could use some thoughts and energy - my cat annie (5 years old) is going in for surgery tomorrow to remove a whole whack of bladder stones - 2 caught in her urethra, and then kitty dialysis to remove the crystals in her kidneys and restore function. She'll be there for 4-5 days and we're quite worried about her here! SO pleas ekeep us, and her in your thoughts Thanks!) Ahhh...imagining that irresistible "new car" smell? Guest guest
Anne I had the same thing. It just hung on and hung on. I'm still not completely over it, and it's been about a month. I figure it's a virus, and will have to run it's course. Having said that, what I did, and do, is increase my Total Tonic intake. I take about two shot glasses worth in my Super Food smoothies (12 oz of smoothie) three times a day. It really loosens up the congestion. I still cough and blow my nose, but it is productive, that is, it loosens and brings up and out the gunk. Now I'm hooked on Tonic in my smoothies. And I will definitely keep you and your furry friend in prayer! Peace, love, laughter My mechanic told me, " I couldn't repair your brakes, so I made your horn louder. Guest guest
Anne if you crush a vitamin C tablet in her drinking water, it will avoid kidney stones. Re: Achey/Sore Nose Thank you Janet - I know that cats (indoors) are especially prone to bladder issues. Her Bladder was 2/3 full of stones in the x-ray. Poor girl. She is in surgery now (1:30 PST) and they said they'd call this evenining.I have some fairly recent super tonic and will up the dosage... didn't know about the eyebright and I actually have some on hand. I do know that my allergies have sprung up this spring, right around when the cherry blossoms started popping up, but this is ridiculous! LOLThanks so much, Anne--- In health , "Janet Hamilton" <
