Guest guest
Does anyone purchase a "premade" version, or buy something and add af ew things etc? LIke I said I know I should buy it myself...but for now? I used to take something called Green Vibrance. That stuff is LOADED with good stuff. It's green foods plus lots more. That would be my choice after my own homemade. Gloria ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
Guest guest
We'll give that a shot, and will look for the one you mentioned! , Green Vibrance isn't cheap. You can take a look at it here and see the ingredients. Vibrant Health, Green Vibrance, 344 g Gloria ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com. Guest guest
If I didn't love making my own stuff, I'd probably not hesitate to buy this one. I just bought the herbs from MR in 8 oz. packs and I just mixed it up yesterday. My mixture came out to $15-16 a pound. I think the Green Vibrance is $37 for 12.28 ounces. But they also have lots of other things in that...herbs as well as vitamins, probiotics etc. It would probably cost me a fortune to make what they make. Guest guest
I'm really behind in reading the posts but I bought all the ingredients for this about a year or two ago and it made a ton. What I discovered is I cannot stand the taste of it no matter what I mixed it with. I finally measured it out and figured it takes 24 capsules to make 2 tbls. I take 12 a day which is only half but I figure I'm still getting good stuff without having to gag. It's the fishy smell and tast that gets me every time. Guest guest
When I ordered mine, it came to $45.00 plus $6.90 s/h. That was ordering everything in 4oz lots. My order was $77.25 plus $9.50 shipping. That was for 8 oz. of each herb and one pound of wheatgrass powder. Now I wish I had also ordered the capsule machine. I think you'll be really pleased with Mountain Rose. I have never been disappointed. When I find a great company I like to spread the word. Guest guest
Yup, Mountain Rose Herbs is a great company. Another thing I noticed when I put in my order last week was that some of their herb prices were lower than they were in 2006. Apparently when their costs go down they pass it onto the consumer. I was impressed. I also asked them how to keep my herbs fresh. They told me airtight containers but NOT in the fridge or freezer compartment. They told me the temperature in the fridge/freezer changes when you open and close the fridge and even those slight fluctuations in temp can negatively affect the herbs. They said it's ok if you have one of those deep freezers that you rarely open. Otherwise just keep them in an airtight container in a cupboard or closet etc. Gloria ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
