Guest guest
Okay, here's another of my " duh " questions/issues..... I had my tonsils and adnoids removed when I was a kid, like most kids did during that era. A traumatic experience to be sure. All us kids went in at the same time, and I was the first to go. I remember the orderly wheeling me past my siblings room saying, " say goodbye to your friends " . I'm sure there was no sinister music in the back-ground, but I am equally sure that there was! So I am wondering, what the heck are the glands that keep swelling up on my neck that make it look like I have the mumps? Whenever I eat hot stuff (which I WON'T stop doing), or when I have nausea, they swell up to the size of golf balls. It occures just below my jaw line, under where the base of my tongue is. It aches quite a bit, and swells up, but that is it. I've looked in my throat, because I've heard that sometimes T's and A's grow back, but don't see anything. And I really don't know that much about glands, where they are, and what they do. Not a major life issue, but just curious. As always..... Peace, love, laughter " Fill your life with as many moments and experiences of joy and passion as you humanly can. Start with one experience and build on it.
