Her favorite is so easy she can do it at her desk, and the soothing tea is tasty as well as effective. Try these all-natural calming remedies here. Acupressure Hold your thumb with your other hand. Do it gently and intently, but keep doing it until you feel your body start to relax. The Jin Shin Jyutsu philosophy connects emotions with each finger of the hand and worry is the province of the thumb. You can also press the spot between your eyebrows at the center of your forehead, which helps dispel anxious thoughts. Calming Tea INGREDIENTS Equal parts of each of the following dried herbs: Lavender flowersRolled oatsLinden flowersCatnipLemon balm 1. You can buy 1/2 ounce of each of these ingredients at your local natural foods store. Mix them together. 2. To make a day's supply of the tea, use 4 tablespoons of the blend per quart of boiling water. Pour water over herbs and allow to steep for 10 minutes. Strain and drink the liquid while it's warm (gently reheat tea after initial use). 3. Suggested dosage: a cup after each meal and up to 6 cups a day if necessary. Suzi What is a weed?
