Guest guest
The best liver detox going is milk thistle. It's readily available, cheap and restores and rebuilds the liver from things such as cirrhosis and even fatty liver. Good luck. Jay Original post: Hi gang, I'm new here, having just been diagnosed with colon cancer and looking hard--again--at my diet. I've been through the diet thing in the past, but for the past fifteen years I've been sporadic enough a bad boy to land me in trouble. One good thing: My system cleans itself easily, quickly, and thoroughly. Even a one day fast produces noticeable results. Hopefully, my good cell-boys will view cancer cells with the same bully-ish attitude as the other junk. I need a good liver detox recipe. I carried one around for 20 years, never used it, now I need it and it's gone. It was a recipe of veggies and I don't know what all else--except that it was all natural and used no over the counter pills or concoctions. I am of course juicing veggies and eating fresh fruit...but that recipe I once possessed boasted a result of one huge, black turd, carrying away every iota of garbage. It's a lovely image at this point in my life! Can anyone help? Thanks, Cliff
Guest guest
Thars awesome Rogene! That’s one thing I miss while being pregnant, no detoxing remedies whatsoever! Arg! No fasting either. Do you take a daily liver supp? I do a mix one with dandelion and milk thistle, and know it has helped when I couldn’t fast or do any flushes. Awesome to hear about all the stones! --- Original Message ----- From: Rogene S Sent: Monday, January 17, 2005 9:46 AM Subject: Liver Detox I did a fast for three days, then a liver detox overthe weekend.I'm shocked at the number of stones I passed. . If I've beenstoring this crap in my liver, it's no wonder tryingto beat candida has been such an ongoing problem! The woman I met last week who had MCS so bad she hadto live in a tent said that liver detox was the mosteffective therapy she did. I'm planning to repeat this monthly until the numberof stones I pass are greatly reduced. Guest guest
Rogene Did you feel better after the cleanse? I had more energy for a couple of days. And since then I have been able to eat garlic, onions, peppers, bananas..all things I had stopped eating due to gastric distress! I almost threw up fromthe olive oil--it nauseated me. So I have been delaying doing it again but I know I must. I even get good results fromthe olive/lemon drink. Keep us informed if you experience better health from it or if you keep doing them. Guest guest
Hi Kathy, I know how you feel about putting off doing it again! Drinking that stuff cause me to put it off many times. I'm feeling very, very energetic/clear today . . . I've done several things today that I'd put off for months! One thing I dreaded was cleaning out my stained glass workshop and putting everything up so I can set up a pottery studio. . . It's DONE! Yeah! Then we went square dancing . . . I also cooked my hubby's favorite meal . . . Sauerbrauten, red cabbage, potatoes, homemade bread plus a special German gravy that has gingersnaps for thickening. AND, I went shopping for all the little odds and ends I've wanted for this and that, but didn't feel like going out looking for. Using fresh ruby red grapefruit juice instead of lemon juice makes it a lot easier to get the olive oil down. According to one recipe, grapefruit blends with the oil where lemon doesn't. The recipe I used called for 1/2 cup, instead of a full cup too! Not nearly as bad as it was before. Using a straw helps, but I didn't this time. My first liver detox was about ten years ago when I was participating in a study using hyperbaric oxygen treatments for implant women. Another woman in the study recommended the liver detox. We told the doctor supervising the study what we wanted to do . . . She told us to go ahead, just document our experience. I was amazed at the difference I felt from the liver detox. . . It was as though the gray clouds moved out and the sun came through! I've done a number of liver flushes using OrthoPhos . . . the Classic Coke cleanse. But I'd never fasted before. According to the website, fasting causes the bile to build up pressure since it's released to digest fats. This is supposed to help the flush. I certainly passed many, many more stones this time than ever before. Rogene

Guest guest
Kathy, I know what you mean! . . . ugh! . . BIG UGH!! It's not nearly as bad! For one thing, there isn't as much to drink! . . and the taste/texture isn't as bad either. The Epsom salts doesn't taste great, but, at six ounces, I could get it over quick! . . . Funny thing . . . Hubby poured himself a big glass of the Epsom salt/water mix and drank it before he realized it wasn't water! I thought he was going to come unglued! Guest guest
Hubby came through the Epsom salts fine, aside from a few toots! I expect to do another one in early March. Guest guest
It's really important to do a digestive cleanse before a liver cleanse or blood cleanse because you need to clear out the path to be sure the way is clear for everything to drain out into the digestive system for elimination. The digestive system doesn't always clear out like we expect. There are lots of good cleanses out now on the net and in the store. I'm planning on adding a parasite cleanse with my digestive cleanse, too, just to be sure I am cleaned out. There are herbs that help kill and expel them and if you've read up on that at all, they can cause a lot of problems. Something to consider... Guest guest
Hi team! Happy May to one and all. Does anyone have any opinions/thoughts about liver detoxing? I saw a tea tonic in the files I will try, but am wondering how long to drink such a tea - a week? Or should I drink it ongoing? Has anyone had experience with a liver detox? Thanks for the input. Peace on earth. Cheryl

Guest guest
Hi Cheryl, I have some experience with detoxing the liver. First, I would ask what the reason for the detox is. The tea in the files, if I am thinking of the same one, is wonderful. I would recommend using it several times a day for at least a week. It can be taken on a regular basis with no ill effects, but I've found that the body tends to become used to something, thereby lessening it's effect, after a while. But first, I would say do the liver/gallbladder cleanse first. The one without the epsom salt. Then start on the tea on a regular basis. I hope this helps! Keep us informed. Peace, love, laughter > > Hi team! > > Happy May to one and all. Does anyone have any opinions/thoughts about > liver detoxing?
