Sherrie ================================== Check your phone bills for charges you did not make. I just got my bill in for September and in it is an additional $25.77 L/D charges from a service calling itself USBI. I called the number to inquire what that was about and it than I found out it is a long distance SCAM charging service. When I dialed the number it asked me to put in the phone # who was going to be charged. Naturally I didn't and hung up. I did a search on the internet for USBI and it took me to a form where I could file a complaint or inquiry about my billing. I did and also informed them that in the morning I will be having my local phone company remove these charges. I did a domain request but none fit this one. I did a bit more investigating using variables and found that the domain name that is alerting us to this scam is http://www.billview.com and they list USBI, ZPDI, and ESBI as scam businesses. I can't pull up USBI or ESBI but did pull up ZPDI and it states what the scam is about. These calls or charges were made through USBI on July 31 and it does not state where from or the number they dialed from and call was made to some place(s) called Mainstreet S, also Mainstreet M and Universal SE. USBI's billing service number is 1-888-760-8724 so you may want to jot this number down in case it appears on your phone bills. http://www.billview.com is registered to Registrant: Billing Concepts, Inc.
