Guest guest
Ain't it the truth! Can't remember if I shared this yet or not..... Had to take to the ER last week. He was complaining about sever stomach pains. We took him the the Urgent Care earlier, and told us to give him lots of water, charged us almost $500.00 up front. Anyway, the ER people were great! I know I usually disdain hospitals and such, but let's face it, there are times when they are a god-send. It took them almost two hours to find a vein to get a blood sample and get some fluids in him. Turned out his body wasn't taking in the fluids he was drinking. All it was doing was flushing minerals out. He was going into shock caused by dehydration. Anyway, they got him hydrated, had to go back a couple of days later for more, but this time they knew where to look for the vein and found it right away. He's doing great now! Okay, life seems good. Life feels great. I shoulda known! I woke up Tuesday morning GREEN! I swear I looked like a frog. My skin had a green cast, my eyes seemed green in the whites. And my urin was and is a deep red. Okay, gallbladder and liver. My diet isn't as good as it should be, and I am under a major amount of stress at work, and almost none at home (with such a wonderful and supportive family. Serious here, folks!!) Add to that crippling muscle cramps in my extremeties. My feet (top and bottom, both sides of the feet), my lower legs (calves and shin muscles, whatever they are called), my hands top and bottom both sides. To the point where I cannot sleep. My feet and legs at night for the most part. My hands whenever I use them. I am doing the banana thing, and mega doses of electrolyte drinks. A friend at work, a Bosnian refugee, says that drinking pickle juice helps too. Ultra hot baths seem to help for a while. I can't massage the leg muscles because that causes the hands to flare up. This mostly happens at night between the hours of 2-ish and 5-ish. I don't know why. Other than that I feel great. As a matter of fact, yesterday we had a kick butt day stocking the shelves at work. About 6 of us spent almost three hours shucking 75 lb boxes and putting books on shelves. Worked up quite a sweat. I felt better than ever after that, and looked better. I figured I sweated some of it out. So I'm going to do the Gallbladder/Liver Flush-Cleanse this weekend and see what happens. Marilyn says that if this doesn't help, she's taking me to the ER. We could make an apt with a Dr now that I have insurance, but it takes from 2 wks to a month to get an appointment through Keiser from what other employees have said. Any thoughts or suggestions?
