Message of the Day NOT THAT AGAIN!

I feel the excitement in the air, don`t you? Just think of all those

Pilgrims, all those days and nights

looking, looking for land. They were thrilled all right, but not for the

reasons you`re thinking. Oh, they had enough food and water, but they didn`t

have enough fashions. Yes, fashion! When they finally landed at Plymouth

Rock, they asked the Indians where to go shopping for something nice to wear

for this special occasion! ;-)

Now follow in the footsteps of these Pilgrims, and put some fashion in your

Thanksgiving gala. People decorate their homes with fall flowers and

foliage. The fireplace is glowing, and so are the candles on the dining room

table.

It`s very nice to decorate your home, but what about you? Shouldn`t you

fancy up a little bit, too? You just can`t wear that same outfit you wore

last year again! And now, here are this year`s color schemes – brown, mocha,

rust, burgundy, okra, forest green, and orange. Go buy a new skirt and

blouse or a dress accentuated with a scarf of many colors!

Now what about your hair? Up or down? Will you wear a headband or barrettes?

Just make sure however you wear it, everyone will still be able to see your

dangling hearings! Go to a department store, and have one of the makeup

artists show you a dramatic, fall look. Let us not forget the shoes to

finish it all off! Boots, yes, boots in leather or suede.

Now stand back and look at yourself in a full-length mirror. Check yourself

out! This new outfit makes you look sensational, and look at your hair! It`s

shiny, it`s fun, and the French braid was the perfect choice! When you look

good, you feel good, and when you feel good, you`re guaranteed to be the

life of the party! You`d better believe those Pilgrims were the life of that

big powwow the Indians threw for them!

So I say don`t you dare take out that same old black dress and that turkey

pin you`ve worn for the last 11 years! Try to be a bit adventurous this

Thanksgiving time around, and you should be thankful to God for making you

as cute as you are.
