Hi all,

Well, I finally used up my commercially prepared Dr. 's

intestinal formula #1. And, although I got past the worst of it, I was

uncomfortable throughout.

Meanwhile, I purchased the " Ultimate Colon Cleanse " online, and so I

started it yesterday.

The pack includes a month's worse of parasite formula, a month's worth

of laxative tea, a month's worth of probiotics, and, a jarful of powder

which includes all the same ingredients as 's formula #1,

plus several additional herbs.

It has been pretty amazing. For one thing, I haven't had any intestinal

cramps. And, for at least today, I have passed a lot more stuff than I

was on the 's formula.

BTW, the probiotics say to take them 30 minutes before eating dinner. I

skipped them last night because I forgot them until I was ready to eat,

and I didn't have the time to wait 30 minutes. But I'm wondering what

the purpose of the probiotics is. Just to help digestion? Do you suppose

that it is because no dietary changes are suggested to go along with

this cleanse. Maybe I don't need them?

But today I have developed a headache that feels like a sinus headache

behind my right eye. I can't decide what to do about it. I'm not sure if

it is part of the healing, or if it is a forerunner to something like a

cold, which I realize is another way of healing, but something I don't

want to deal with right now. Any thoughts?

Anyway, the package says that most people don't mind the " intestinal

cleanse " stuff shaken in water, but the first day, I didn't drink it

instantly, and it turned into applesauce, without the apples. :-) It was

pretty disgusting!

So today, I both shook it in apple juice, and glugged it in a hurry. <G>
