Dear Cecilia Snyder,

This is to clarify some facts and raise my concerns over the case study on

positive women stories:Anandi yuvaraj.

Firstly, I am not working for Indian network of positive people as you have

mentioned in your mail and never even worked before as a staff.

I served in the INP+ plus board as Joint secretary two years ago and I am no

more with the board. During my tenure I represented INP+ in some forums locally

and internationally.

You need to understand that when you give such information people might get

confused and that too forums like AIDS Treatment are meant for

updating on latest initiatives and sharing the happenings around HIV/AIDS and to

raise the issues at different levels for a greater response to the epidemic. I

personally feel that this is not the appropriate forum or place to put up my

case study which constantly keep changing its form as a person living with

HIV/AIDS is not static and what ever the case study want to address has become

stale news now.

HIV/AIDS field is very dynamic as the virus and one may not know what happens to

one and it is very imperative to check for the authenticity of info with person

concerned before publishing in forums like this.I appreciate the concern you

have for PLHA and trying to make me as a model for other women but it would

have been better if you had informed earlier becuase then I would have had the

opprtunity to update the case study and may be I edit it if I wish to.

Currently I am working with India HIV/AIDS Alliance for the past one year as

Programme officer and I have taken lot of initiatives in implementing the GIPA

concept with our partner NGOs whom we support.

Please clarify this matter.
