Progress of Bill Gates HIV initiative in India

Dear Colleagues,

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation recently committed $100 million for the

India AIDS Initiative, a major new prevention partnership with community

organizations, the government of India, and the private sector. A small round of

initial grants are expected to be announced in the next several months. The

first significant grants will be announced this summer.

sheet detailing partnerships and goals of the program. Information, including

grant announcements, will be updated as it becomes available.
