Guest guest
Felt challenged by your initial motivation to begin tossing. I figured if you can let go, then I can too. I feel "owned" by the stuff I have around me. I want to bring my life up to current and things from 10 years ago have no place in my life now. Even 5 years ago. So tossing is cathartic for me. I have NO regrets. Last night a friend of mine said she doesn't do that because what if she needs it in a year? I said if she hasn't used it in 5 years, and needs it next year, buy a new one. She said she's saving things for her grandkids. I said give it to them NOW. Get it out of your life. I am totally cleaning out everything and tossing anything I don't use NOW. I'm a cleaning madwoman on a mission! I have about 40 filled trash bags already. Boxes of pictures (I'll just remember what people look like), etc....all GOES!
