Guest guest
Finally appt. today with root canal specialist. He didn't have to pull the tooth as my first primary dentist said was necessary and now the novacane wearing off so pain has returned. I do have an antiobiotic I just picked up, out of choice and his recommendation, and pain med which I am not going to fill but go with clove bud. I still need other root canal on bottom so that's scheduled for 24th. The tooth on the tooth that was done by my former primary is seeping out decay as I can suck and taste it. Ouch is all I can say at the moment. Thanks all for suggestions. I'm surely looking at partial denture soon for one area. I'm tired of fighting teeth. Oh today's visit was $1600. No typo but insurance covered it 100%. Of course $433 monthly insurance right now includes dental. Trying to see if my self employed can pay me a few bucks so that I can then be called employee and check out insurance with a write off vs. $6000 owed to govt. this year. Gloria sounded chipper today on the phone. carolg > > Monday dentist appt. First appt. of the AM I believe. Guest guest
Carol - check out Agri Biz. It is something that I join every year and can write off all medical/dental expenses. Includes chiro, massage, glasses, contacts, all dental, and I don't know what all because that's all I usually have to deduct. Saved $5,800 last year with Agri Biz. It is for the self-employed. http://www.agriplan-bizplan.com/ Shari V
Guest guest
Shari, Thanks bunches. Will look into it. I have to review my taxes as I think my accountant said he wasn't able to take off our meddical expenses. Over $6,000+ (could be close to $7,000) government has some of hubby's money. Right now $433 monthlt for helath for me and dental for us with vision too. My root canals today I saved $1600 on--but I am in aching pain as I type. I suppose I was born with this problem from day 1. hugs, carolg > > Carol - check out Agri Biz. It is something that I join every year and can write off all medical/dental expenses. Guest guest
I seem to remember the years we had health insurance we got to deduct the monthly cost of that as well as out of the pocket expenses. It just costs $199 per year to be a member. This is some very obscure IRS law and it originally had to do with agriculture. Something about how it is administered needs to be monitored and that's what this company does for their $199 per year. We've been doing this for about 15 years. Guest guest
Shari, I at their link they have it for farmers and business. I didn't read over the entire site yet, but can you use your own dentist or do you have to use theirs. I think that small businessesd are allowed to deduct the entire insurance and there is a tax law stating same. I need to still check out. Today was painful withdrawing money from the bank to pay almost $7,000 for this small business that does not make a chunk of big bills. Regardless things have to change. Today went to dentist thinking crowns on the two teeth of yesterday and not so far. He wants to switch gears and do a root canal done on the top tooth by specialist. Never again two root canals in same day....or maybe same week...too much on the body..... Today the crowns, I believe 3 are about $1100 with insurance, and without $4300 believe. ............. Thanks Sharing again. Pain finally left from yesterday's work. Wow, what an evening but slept...no pain pills but on antibiotics........a choice...... Guest guest
You can use your own dentist Carol. This plan has nothing to do with who you see or what type of health care you use. It is strictly for seeing to it you get the proper tax deductions. You do not do any of it yourself except to write the numbers on your income tax form. They send you forms about what to deduct. I didn't know I could deduct mileage to and from the doctors/dentists. Shari
