Guest guest
Hi, hope I'm just panicking for nothing but my son came over and he was eating grapes. He is 21 years old. Anyway, I kept hearing a crunching noise so I asked him what he was doing. He said his favorite part of the grape was the seed because it's so bitter. Weird I know but he has always loved bitter tasting food. I work in an animal hospital and I know that grape seeds are very poisonous to animals because they cause kidney failure. I've tried looking up grapes to see and I have found some juice recipes for them without any mention of removing the seeds but nothing about should you remove the seeds or are they ok to eat. We went through this with apple seeds as well, turns out they are very healthy for you, in small amounts, because of the vitamin 17 count in them. Lord only knows how long he has been eating these seeds but does anyone know if they are ok? It sure would put my mind to ease or send me into a bigger panic one. Thanks faye
