Hi Jake:

Yes I have used Reflexology, and yes it worked for me. After a session, my

whole body feels absolutely no pain whatsoever.

My registered massage therapist moved away last September and I have only

had relaxation massages since that time. I have found another lady who does

manicures, pedicures and hot paraffin moisturizing for me each month who

just passed her course in ?? " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " . I will begin sessions again

next month. Again, they work for me.

Gene, Though I am not Jake, I am a reflexologist and I will tell you about the

treatments I give. They last a half hour. I'll look over the foot carefully

first to see if there are any cuts, rashes deformities etc. Then I start gently

compressing the whole area of the sole, parts of the upper and sides and then

work more deeply. It is done mainly with the thumbs and index fingers. This

brings relaxation, improves the circulation and is bringing the body into

homeostasis(balance). If you visualize the left side of the body being imaged on

the left foot and the right side the right foot you can picture mentally where

different organs and glands of the body are reflected-that is if you know

anatomy- We do not claim to cure but to relax and improve the circulation and

improve nerve flow.I have done this professionally for over 20 years. An

excellent study source is Dwight C Byers book " Better Health with Foot

Reflexology " ( the original Ingham method). It can be found in many

libraries. The ISBN 0-9611804-2-0 Published by Ingham Publishing, Inc St

sburg FL. Reflexology can also be done on the hands and is a great self

help tool and also very good for amputees. Hope this is of some help. Wishing

you the best.

Hello,

As I could not find any good reflexologist in my area, I began giving some treatment for the ovarian cyst and gallbladder stones to myself.

Does anyone is familiar with reflexology?

I would like to know if applying a vibrator to the reflex points can have the same effect of pressing these points using my fingers.

Thanks,

Tat
