Guest guest
Gloria and Carol, I had my BIG visit in December and was amazed how easy it went. The heavy duty meds (especially the anti-anxiety one) and having a friendly dentist helped a lot. I was actually ecstatic the day after, I guess because something I dreaded for many years was finally over and successful, and I was on the way to no pain and a healthy mouth and healthier body. Try to focus on the benefits and not allow yourself to dwell on anything that scares you (that you can't control). I know I was in so much pain that the decision to go ahead and get the teeth pulled was no longer difficult. With you in prayer, Kathy T. The BIG visit will be in May..that's when I get teeth pulled which I'm not looking forward to. But friends and dental hygienist said to know I'm going to be much better off afterwards. I needed that support. Cold, snow and icky here. Where is Spring???Gloria **************************************See what's free at http://www.aol.com. Guest guest
Kathy, This pain is unbelievable. I slept a little tonight, but here I am. I have a dental appt. with primary tmmorrow AM and I believe my upper two or three teeth are the culprit too. It's getting old. Keep Gloria and I up as it quite a challenge at the moment for me to constantly deal with pain even though I have been seeing a dentist for al ong time. Glad I found a new dentist now--the primary. carolg -- In health , " Kathy " <kathyinar@...> wrote: > > Gloria and Carol, > I had my BIG visit in December and was amazed how easy it went. Kathy, Thanks for your support. I"m not in pain right now but these teeth really have to go. They have tried saving them time and time again and they would eventually either get an abscess or become loose etc. Have to get them pulled and get a partial. This will be a whole new game for me and knowing it worked for you is helpful. I agree with Carol. It's been lifelong challenge. I look at it as someone born with diabetes or something. I've been dealing with this since I was 9 or 10. Next it will be the top teeth, although I have been keeping that problem at bay with extremely diligent care.
