Guest guest
Well, I for one would love to have insurance covering my children’s disability. Many people can become healthy and normal with diet, exercise, and supplements but not all. Janet From: health [mailto:health ] On Behalf Of SV Sent: Wednesday, June 27, 2007 7:42 PM health Subject: Re: Re: Sicko Ah, stay healthy? That's how you can afford to live in the USA without health insurance. Have only had health insurance sporadically over the last 23 years and it's probably only cost us $10,000 out of pocket for two broken arms, a broken thumb, lacerated eyeball and a few stitches. And let's see 23 years x 12 months x $400 (it's been less, it's been more) for insurance per month comes to = $110,400. MUCH less than what I have paid out for injuries. Now if I could only save that $400 a month......................... Very few people I know have health insurance. Most of us choose to buy organic food, supplements, memberships to gyms and anything else that will keep us health. Besides if it came down to it I doubt I would do what the medicos would want anyway. Read " Reclaming Our Health " by Robbins. In there he talks all about cancer. He even interviews some of the top oncologists at Sloan Kettering and the Mayo Clinic and when asked what they would do if they had cancer? Their answer was: " Anything but this. " And these are the people administering the poison!! You can live without health insurance. Believe in yourself and the power of your body to know what's best if you give it what's best. Guest guest
Check around your area with whatever Life Flight helicopter service is available. After the fact we found out that in our state you can spend $250 for a policy, through Life Flight themselves, that will cover you and all family members for a year - it may be a longer period of time depending on your area. If you ever need the flight and you're a policy holder, there is no charge. When my two children and I were in a serious car accident in the early '90's, three of us went to the hospital by ambulance. Total cost was close to $8000. The helicopter ride was in 2000 and it cost over $16,000. Insurance companies don't like paying for helicopters. It doesn't always have to do with getting sick. Sometimes $% & # happens! Gloria
