Raw V8 Juice6 medium-sized carrots1 small beet (wash well)3 large tomatoes1 bag baby spinach1/4 head fresh cabbage1 red bell pepper1 green bell pepper3 stalks celery1/4 sweet onion1/2 clove garlic or less if you don't care for garlicKale leaves (a little goes a long way so be careful) Chili pepper to tasteRun all the vegetables through your juicer and then sitback and enjoy the healthiest V-8 juice around. Tabascosauce to taste can be substituted for the chili pepper.For a second recipe, this one cooked, let's turn to...Tom 's Spicy Hot V88 quarts water4 pounds homegrown tomatoes, chopped1 bunch celery, chopped8 green jalapeno peppers, chopped1 cup vinegar3 bay leaves2 Tbs oregano1 large onion, chopped1 head garlic, pressed4 Tbs salt (optional -- leave out for 21 day program)4 Tbs sugar (optional -- leave out for 21 day

program)In a large pot, combine all ingredients except the sugar,bring to a boil, and cook at a steady boil for 2 hours.Remove from heat and strain through a relatively fine mesh,making sure to express all the liquid you can.Discard the pulp, return the liquid to the pot, and boilfor another couple of hours, or until the liquid is reducedto roughly three quarts.
