, There is alot of info in the message archives on this.. glad to hear you still have yours.. here is some info.. For the 1st 5 days, take 4 glasses of apple juice everyday or eat 4 or 5 apples, whichever you prefer. Apple juice softens the gallstones. During the 5 days, EAT NORMALLY.On the 6th day, take no dinner. At 6 pm, take a teaspoon of Epson Salt (magnesium sulphate) with a glass of warm water. At 8 pm, repeat the same. Magnesium Sulphate opens the gallbladder ducts. [Tip: Epson salt may be purchased at any pharmacy]At 10 pm, take ½ cup olive (or sesame) oil with ½ cup fresh lemon juice. Mix it well and drink it. The oil lubricated the stones to ease their passage.[Tip: Drink slowly for better result, avoid food after 2 pm or expect more output the next day :-)]The next morning, you will find green stones in your stools. Usually they float.Dr Chiu Nan's NOTE: "You might want

Anyway, what can I do to avoid this happening. I understand I have gall

stones they saw in the ultrasounds.

I used to have horrible horrible horrible gall bladder attacks. I'd be doubled over with pain, especially after I ate. It was scary but I was willing to try anything before surgery. I read somewhere that exercise helps and decided to try it. I had a friend who had a pool and started going over everyday and swimming for about half an hour...just back and forth. The pains stopped. My suggestion....cut out ALL fatty foods (cheese etc.) and get that body moving.

Hello,

Some months ago I had an ultrasound due to an ovarian cyst that suddenly grew large. I discovered that my gallbladder was inflamed and full of stones. I never had any problem at all. After the ultrasound, probably due to the vibration, I began having some problems and one morning I suddenly experienced one of the most excruciating pains I had ever suffered. I thought it was the cyst. I got sick: fever, constant pain, etc.

I have to explain that no matter what happens to me I refuse to go to a hospital. Or God, nature and what I know heals me, or I die. Yes, I'm extremely radical in certain topics.

Little by little I got better, but the pain was always around, coming and going.

I'm used to listen to my body, to perceive what's going on and finally I realized that the pain came from my gallbladder. I found an herbal formula that helps dissolve stones and soon after I began taking it, I saw improvement in my condition. I still take it for maintenance, but I no longer have pain or any other discomfort.

In reference to the ovarian cyst, I continue trying.

Regards,

Tat

gall bladder attacks

I just got out of the hospital. I began having extreme stomach pain. It was bad. I really dislike going to doctors and I wanted to go to urgent care, it was so bad. They gave me something for pain which didn't work, then morphine, that worked. After awhile they desided it was my gall blader and admitted me for surgery. The next day I was to talk with a surgon, and exentually have the gall bladder removed. The next day, the pain never came back. I got xrayed and ultrasound. They said my gall bladder was inflamed. How about the Dr Schultz Gall Bladder Flush, the over night 16oz citris

and oil mix? Is this harsh compared to the 5 day treatment? How do

they compare?

, I remember that my mom used to double over under this kind of

pain. I remembered that she took some kind of oel and that relaxing

was a big part of the treatment. My dad used to(DR. ORDERS)rub the

whole area ever so gently for a few minutes serveral times a day and

night. I went on the net and found info on natural treatment and

relaxing the gall bladder spasm (by natural product). Relaxing does

seem to play a part. Here is the e-mail address.

www.gallstonesite.com/#inredients. I am at work and dont know how

else and/or quicker to get this info to you. The site first has some

bla, bla, bla and then toward the end the info of their product

which dissolves, and relaxes gall bladder spasm. They list the

ingredients and some of them like Fennel Seed oil, Carraway oil, and

Ginsing reminded me of what my mom took. So I sort of think that

this may be reliable info. I gues if you do not wish to buy the

product it gives you a lot of info on ingredients and what each one

is responsible of doing ....

Hope you dont have to go trough this to often.

Thank you Bridget for the website, it had some good information on it.

They did a nice job explaining how everything works. I guess I'll keep

reading all the info I find and pick what seems to suit me the best;

there does appear to be many alternatives.

I'm not even close to raw. I've a wife and step son. When I saw we're

not going to eat greasy foods anymore she laughs at me. Last night I

had hamburgers. Stepson I call cheeseboy. When he cooks, you gotta

believe it will have a half a pound of cheese in it. We are so full of

mucus some days. I explain this to them, and wife understands, stepson

doesn't seem to care his nose is always running anad he's looking like

the goodyear blimp.

But I digress.

After reading many sources, it would seem to me the treatment is two

parts, part one is the softening of the stones and part two is the

flush. I'm thinking the solution you gave me Suzanne is a sound one.

Wife and I have begun with apples. I'm juicing, she's eating. We're

also drinking a glass of water with a couple teaspoons of apple cider

vinegar every moring. I'll start again with lemon juice in a glass of

water for kidney stones. I know that helps.

My grandmother was prone to stones, huge ones requiring surgery, gall

and kidneys. I guess I am prone also. Have to get away from those

greasy foods.

Thanks everybody who provided information.

Meera, Have you tried any of these? I would be cautious on the lipotropics... This list does not endorse pharmacuticals, although there are times when a person has to go that route for whatever reason. Some of these treatments I would be cautious of and make sure you check out if they are safe under any conditions. Andrographis is an ancient medicinal herb with an extensive history in Asia. Andrographis has been used for centuries to treat upper respiratory infections, fever, sore throat, and a variety of other chronic and infectious diseases.. Not heard of it for gallstones. Suzi

I concur!

I have been working on my sister for years since my first total body

cleanse, she keeps saying " no way i will do that! "

Well last week she saw how improved my skin/rash was over how it looked

3 weeks ago and she was blown away. She especially liked the glow my

face had and the fact that i lost 11 lbs in 3 weeks! When i told her

it was from the cleanse (and prayer)... she asked me to print out all

the instructions so she could read it and think about it!

I have to admit, i was even one of those people that would not try this

and my DH eventually won out.

So keep on track for yourself and eventually when everyone sees your

improved health, they are going to want to jump on the bandwagon!

GALLSTONES

INTRODUCTION:

Gallstones are solid lumps or stones that form in the gallbladder or bile duct. They are formed when some of the chemicals stored in the gallbladder harden into a mass. Gallstones and kidney stones are not related. They are formed in different areas of the body.

GALLBLADDER:

The gallbladder is a small bag-shaped organ on the right-hand side of the body, just below the liver. It stores green liquid called bile, which is produced by the liver to help the body digest fats and other substances.

Bile duct: When we eat, bile is released from the gallbladder into the intestines through a narrow tube called the bile duct.

TREATMENT FOR GALLSTONES:

SURGERY:

Surgery to remove the gallbladder is the most common way to treat symptomatic gallstones. (Asymptomatic gallstones usually do not need treatment.) The surgery is called cholecystectomy.

NONSURGICAL TREATMENT:

Nonsurgical approaches are used only in special situations, such as when a patient has a serious medical condition preventing surgery and only for cholesterol stones. Stones usually recur after nonsurgical treatment.

Oral dissolution therapy:

Drugs made from bile acid are used to dissolve the stones. The drugs, ursodiol (Actigall) and chenodiol (Chenix), work best for small cholesterol stones. Months or years of treatment may be necessary before all the stones dissolve. Both drugs cause mild diarrhea, and chenodiol may temporarily raise levels of blood cholesterol and the liver enzyme transaminase.

Contact dissolution therapy:

This experimental procedure involves injecting a drug directly into the gallbladder to dissolve stones. The drug-methyl tertbutyl ether-can dissolves some stones in 1 to 3 days, but it must be used very carefully because it is a flammable anesthetic that can be toxic. The procedure is being tested in patients with symptomatic, noncalcified cholesterol stones.

MEDICATION FOR GALLSTONES:

* Flaxseed oil, one tbsp. (14 grams) daily in pill or liquid form in the morning.

* Psyllium, one tbsp. of psyllium powder dissolved in juice or water two times daily. Drink a lot of water throughout the day.

* Peppermint oil, two capsules (0.2 ml of peppermint oil each) two times daily, between meals.

* Vitamin C, 1,000 mg thrice daily. If diarrhea develops, reduce the dose.

* Lecithin, two capsules of 1,200mg (19 grains) each two times daily.

* Taurine, 1,000 mg L -taurine two times daily for up to 12 weeks. Add a mixed amino acid complex after six weeks.

* Lipotropic combination, one or two pills two times daily.

HERBS FOR GALLSTONES:

Olive oil:

The oil is nourishing and improves the balance of fats within the blood. It is traditionally taken with lemon juice in teaspoonful doses to treat gallstones. The oil has a generally protective action on the digestive tract and is useful for dry skin. Externally, it is good, although sticky, carrier oil for essential oils.

Fringe Tree:

The root bark of fringe tree is a liver tonic, stimulates bile flow, and acts as a mild laxative. Fringe tree is prescribed mainly for gallbladder pain, gallstones, jaundice, and chronic weakness. Fringe tree contains a dsponin (chionanthin) and a glycoside (phyllirine).

Vervain:

Vervain is a wonderful tonic for Jaundice, gallstones, asthma, insomnia, premenstrual tension, and fevers (especially for the onset of flu). Vervain also helps labor contractions and increases breast-milk production.

Dandelion:

Dandelion root is one of the most effective detoxifying herbs. Working principally on the liver and gallbladder to help remove waste products. Dandelion also stimulates the kidneys to remove toxins in the urine.

Andrographis:

The andrographolides present in andrographis are potent stimulators of gallbladder function, therefore reducing the probability of gallstone formation.

HOMEOPATHIC TREATMENT FOR GALLSTONES:

Certain gallstone-affected individuals have gained benefits from the remedies given below. These homeopathic remedies given below are not intended for self-prescription and are simply mentioned here to denote the great gallstone removal properties of some homeopathic medications and treatment methods.

Berberis:

Berberis is to be used in the homeopathic treatment of individuals afflicted with gallstones in which the symptoms include the presence stitching pains and sensations extending out from the region of the gallbladder al the way into the stomach and this pain may in some cases go out all the way to the region of the shoulder. The pain seems to begin in the region of the lower back or the lumbar region and acute and sharp twinges are felt radiating outward, to the region of the groin and pelvic bones.

Calcarea carb:

Calcarea carb is to be used in the homeopathic treatment of individuals with developed gallstones and other gallbladder disorders where the symptoms may include a very sensitive swelling in the right side of the abdomen; this area is very sensitive to pressure.

Chelidonium:

Chelidonium is to be used in the homeopathic treatment of individuals afflicted with gallstones in which severe pain is one of the symptoms, these painful sensation may radiate out into the regions of the shoulder and shoulder blade to the thighs and all across the back.

Lycopodium:

Lycopodium is to be used in the homeopathic treatment of gallstone afflicted individuals where the symptoms may include a bloated abdominal region with concurrent chronic digestive problems in the person. These problems have attendant disorders such as flatulence, and cause a great deal of discomfort to the person concerned.

Nux vomica:

Nux vomica is to be used in the homeopathic treatment of patients with gallstones in whom the symptoms may include the presence of constricting pains that radiate upwards; other physical symptoms may be stitching pains, and a swollen sensation in the upper right part of the abdomen, which may be painful in some cases.
