Guest guest
I just got out of the hospital. I began having extreme stomach pain. It was bad. I really dislike going to doctors and I wanted to go to urgent care, it was so bad. They gave me something for pain which didn't work, then morphine, that worked. After awhile they desided it was my gall blader and admitted me for surgery. The next day I was to talk with a surgon, and exentually have the gall bladder removed. The next day, the pain never came back. I got xrayed and ultrasound. They said my gall bladder was inflamed. I had IV with antibotics. Last I spoke with the doctor who was filling in for my doctor, I asked her if surgery was necessary or if it would go away, maybe with a diet change. She told me because the pain was widespread she wasn't convinced it was my gall bladder, and we should wait and see if it happens again, at which time I couldn't avoid surgery. Nice doctor. I thought maybe they'd remove it weather I needed it or not. Anyway, what can I do to avoid this happening. I understand I have gall stones they saw in the ultrasounds. ANyone with experience with this? ~
