Please help with this obstacle as I would like to have this stuff on hand for when I start the hcg for the second go around. Thanks Got a little couch potato? Guest guest
Most markets have organic sections and Wild Oates, Sunflower, and Whole Foods have been a God send! Lots of people have food co-ops they can join. You might want to google organic foods in your area. I love Ranch meats and they are all over.fullrobinsnest <fullrobinsnest@...> wrote: How does one go about finding all of these foods (meats) that are suppose to be organic? Guest guest
there are bunches of smaller farms that you can buy organically raised chicken and beef. I'm actually buying a side of beef from a rancher outside austin and the price is very competitive. On 5/30/07, Jeanne Gardner <jeannedaireaustin@...> wrote: > ohhhhhh I forgot about Trader Joes. Guest guest
Do you have a trader Joes or whole foods in your area. go ahead and google organic foods in your area; hopefully you will have something near by. Which part of the country are you in and do you health food stores near by. Health food stores tend to be more pricey and trader Joes is very reasonable when buying organic. Good luck in your search. Guest guest
That's great that you can buy a side of beef; my frig is way to small for that much meat and have no freezer. There's many a farms and ranches in CA; I should check out buying meet from a rancher/farmer. Although I can just go to trader joes and buy organic. I do enjoy going to Lane farms and buying fruits and vegies. Guest guest
, what a great idea. Are you near Austin? I am so excited about moving there. My husband is already there and as soon as my house sells here in Las Vegas I am there. I will have to buy a freezer. I used to buy hind quarters from Ranch in CA. I love the flavor of organic and naturally raised meats.Jeannejoanie stewart <joanie_stew@...> wrote: That's great that you can buy a side of beef; my frig is way to small for that much meat and have no freezer. Guest guest
Apologies if this isn't the right forum for this question, but perhaps someone can give me some direction. I've woven in and out of eating really " clean " for 20 yrs., and have a boyfriend of 1 1/2 yrs. who thinks that eating organic is a lifestyle and fad, more or less. He wants proof that pesticides cause illness, etc., and that packaged/processed foods, sugar, etc., are bad for a person. For me it's been 20 yrs of gathering various bits of information, but also just knowing I feel much, much better the farther away from processed I get, and the closer to organic and fresh. Is there info in the files, or does someone know other groups/sites to go to to find a quick and dirty review of information I can give to him? Thanks. Guest guest
I think this is someone (Jagriti Herbs) who is new here and doesn't really know how to post on a groups email list. If we be patient, maybe s/he will sort it out. Because I couldn't find anything s/he responded to in the email below either. Since I'm posting to the list anyway (wasn't going to make a separate post, but emailed Suzi privately), I'm off way early tomorrow morning with my family to Scotland for 2+ weeks, so am going No Mail. Will catch up with you all when I return! Sharyn, looking forward to good ish porritch w/honey & cream<G> Re: organic foods > Apologies if this isn't the right forum for this question, but perhaps > someone can give me some direction.
