I only saw a guy on Stern who did this. He was normal looking (by that I

mean he didn't look unhealthy or super-healthy). He said it was the best thing

in the world. But I don't see how you could use waste from the body to heal.

Perhaps I need to be 'schooled' on this one.

just to clarify... urine therapy usually involves drinking ones own

urine (though it is used in other ways too). Some people swear by

it , and it a part of some styles of yoga (I think you will find

details by searching for:

urine therapy or

amaroli

Personally, I had no good effects from it, but there are many

testimonials. I was drinking a cup, but reduced it to 1/2 " , as I

got loose stools.

Why on earth would anyone want to ingest a bodily excretion? Your body is

excreting it because it no longer needs it and it is flushing the poisons out.

Ingesting them again would be autointoxication. Only under extreme survival

circumstances like being stranded on the ocean is this recommended. The yogis do

some strange things like sleep on nails, puncture their bodies, swallow ropes,

etc. Think I'll pass on this remedies! But then, to each his own...some think my

I'll just say that urine is quite a bit different from fecal waste. In fact it

is the topical medication of choice when you don't have vinegar available for

jelly fish stings.

I have also heard of this with baby's urine. People will take the diaper (with

urine only) and put it on their skin and supposedly the skin looks great! I

think I also heard of this on Oprah!

I still want nothing to do with it. To each his own.

Years ago when I lived in Hawaii, there was a strange man who lived alone and

traveled the cow pastrues. He used to smear cow dung on his body, and never wash

it off. Some Hindu practice or something. No one wanted to get too close when he

came to town. My cow dog would love him, he likes to roll in it too, LOL.

When urine leaves the body it is a pure substance, unlike fecal matter. I know

of a woman well into her seventies who, with a cotton ball, swabs a bit of her

fresh urine over her face, neck, breasts, hands and arms, twice weekly. She's

been doing this since she was a young woman. Everywhere she has applied the

urine she is blemish, age spot and line free. Her skin does not sag. She looks

no older than a very vivacious 50. She only recently confessed her beauty

routine to her husband of 50 years, who was quite shocked and commented that he

never once smelled anything akin to urine on her. She states there is no odor to

it and it is quite refreshing.

Also, fresh urine can be used in the ears for ear aches. I was told by an ND

that this is one of Grandma's old remedies that really did work. She used her

fresh urine on the children but never let on to them what the " medicine " was.

Given all that I still don't think I could bring myself to drink it.

I just remembered something else. Several years ago I was watching a program

like the National

Geographic Show, or something like it. They were filming a very remote tribal

village somewhere

in the deserts of African or someplace similar. Water was scarce for these

people. A beautiful

young mother with a baby only a few months old followed around a cow of some

kind with a bucket

until it urinated. She caught the urine in the bucket and then proceeded to

wash her baby in it. I shrieked at the time, thinking how horrible that these

poor " uneducated " people would do something

so unthinkable to their innocent babies. Hmm, little did I know.

I already did. It's nice. Very clean zesty feeling. I haven't done it on a

consistent long term

basis though. With fibro, most days there's no strength or energy to exert for

anything " extra " .

But, I did it a few times and definately recommend it. Used it in my ears too,

ditto.

Hi Leo,

This is a topic that has interested me for some time, though I'm just

too chicken to try it. I know urine is full of nutrients, my

ornamental garden looks great using urine alone.

I have thought about making homeographic drops of urine..but haven't

done that yet either.

Can you give us anymore info?...my kidneys would like to know!

That is good advice.

In my case, however, I have been doing an ongoing kidney cleanse on

Dr. 's cancer program for the last 3 years. I also plate zap

kidneys and wear magnets over kidneys as Dr. suggests, along

with some of the supplements recommended for weak kidneys in her

Advanced Cancer book.

Her advanced techniques move a lot of toxins and I am always looking

for ways to boost my kidney function.

My grandfather was a doctor on the front lines in WWII. He told

stories to me when I was younger about how, due to the shortage of

supplies, they used freshly passed urine on just about everything -

wounds, in surgery, in amputations, on burns and a whole lot more.
