First , have him call the State’s

welfare office. Often it is called Adult and Family Services, Department of

Human Health, etc. At the very least they can direct him to a free dental

clinic and get him an emergency extraction or at least a temporary filling. They

will also have applications for Medicaid for his state. It is possible that

the other issues will clear up after this tooth is gone. If not, he could be

looking at anything from benign idiopathic epilepsy to a brain tumor.

Mini - Seizures - help?:

Hello Friends:

Sorry for the disappearing act again - but I am back around just not

often.

Anyway. I hope all is well here - I am in need of help however for a

friend.

I have a friend living in NC, with no health insurance- who is having

two issues and I DESPERATELY want to help him.

1) He's got a severe cavity - and is really limited in what he can

eat - wondering if anyone has any help for that

The larger issues is 2) He's having what people think are

" mini-seizures " just a few seconds, sometimes blinding pain in the

head, sometimes white light, lots of times a sound or an image or a

thought will trigger. No rhyme nor reason - but sometimes makes him

freeze up, and he can rarely remember the images/visions he has while

he's having an " episode " .

I wondere dif some lobelia would help him. He's got a horrible diet,

and am workng on him changing it - but he's a difficult one to change.

Anyway, Just wondered if anyone had any thoughts or insights?

Thanks so much friends and hope you are all well!!!

Did the seizures start with the tooth problem? Does he want help? Is he willing to do what it takes ? Like change his diet?? Clove oil or thyme oil may help the tooth some. Infection in the teeth can do strange things.. Suzi Anne <sarahlovell@...> wrote: Hello Friends: Sorry for the disappearing act again - but I am back around just notoften.Anyway. THanks Janet & Suzi-

I will talk to him. I know his mother is on some sort of state help.

He says that NC has terrible aid, but I'll check and get him to look

into it.

His diet, is horrible. I'm not a raw-foodie, so, I'm at least

trying to get him to eat some whole grains to let his stomach heal

(which is also giving him HELL). He says the little " episodes "

started about 5 years ago, and disappeared for a while. They ahve

recently come back, and sometimes he has to stop and grab a counter

or table to " hang on " while it hits. Sometimes he throws up,

somtimes they pass quickly. HE cannot figure out what triggers

them, but often has visions with them.

I'm not sure exactly how much he's willing to do. He hates

vegetables, and so i'm TRYING to get him to eat more nutritious

food. HE gives a lot of his $ to supporting his mother and sister -

so I think he leaves himself last, and often, will not eat all day.

Many issues to work with.

I'm just looking for some things I can do to help him remotely, send

him etc.

Thanks friends!!

I understand , HOWEVER, if he is not willing to do what he need to to correct this... you will just be putting on a bandaid that will keep falling off shortly after putting it on. I don't think any herbs will really help much if he choses not to clean up his eating habits. The body is rebelling BIG TIME... and it can only fight for so long with no reinforcements. If the State knows he is having serious

health issues, it should move them along. In the mean time tell him to go back

to basics as far as food. Avoid dyes and additives like the plague. Make

stuff from scratch ahead of time so it is convenient, and he will not be so

tempted to grab something quick and easy. Is there any celiac disease in his

family line?

Hi Janet -

I spoke with him and found a free dental clnic in NC. Hopefully he

will go. He thought a light bulb went off when i mentioned the tooth

might be causing the issues. He noticed, when his tooth hurt, he had

more of these issues in his brain. SO. Yes, i'm pushing.

I will keep you all posted - thanks fo rth ehelp!!!!!
