environmental particle causing stress

Hello,

I am already a member for some time but have never posted.

I recognize that any particle from the environment which lie down

every day on my legs cause stress. I can't remove them with water and

soap, only strong scrubbing or scratching takes it away. Does anybody

know a herbal liquid or something else which makes it easier to remove

this?

Randolf - please give me more explanation of what you mean by "any particle from the environment which lie down every day on my legs cause stress"

Are you trying to scrub away something you can see? What do the particles look like? What does it make your skin look like and how does it affect your legs? Do you, indeed, have restless leg syndrome? I don't think that comes from the exterior, but like I said, I'm not understanding your explanation.

Thanks for a clarification - Shari

Hi Randolf. I am not sure what kind of particles you are referring to. Maybe cleaning with apple cider vinegar will remove them. What are they doing to your skin?

The best way to win the body wars, IMHO, is to start on the inside. Let your body be strong enough it won't be bothered by the outside stuff. Can you give a title more detailed description of what is happening?

Hi Randolf. Gayla and Shari have already asked several questions I was going to ask... my next question to theirs is how is your diet? What are you normally eating, drinking? Do you take any meds, herbs etc... When did this start? (along with explaining the problem a bit better as I don't think we're understanding. Hi Randalf,

You have been a member for a while, haven't you. Glad you finally

posted.

As to your issue, you are kind of vague. What " environment " , and

what " particles " are you referring to? Can you actually see these

particles or do they make their presence known in other than visual

ways? You say they " lie down every day on your legs " . What does that

mean?

Also the basics:

What is your diet like? Your stress level? Do you smoke or use drugs

(recreational or perscription)? Do you drink? Stuff like that.

Once we have more info, we can better help out.

Peace, love, laughter

Randolf,

Sometimes when we try to get to the root of an issue, we have to ask

some questions that may under normal circumstances be considered in

bad taste. I have to ask some now. Please believe me that I mean no

disrespect!

What are your personal cleanliness habits like? Do you shower/bathe

daily? Do you use soap and shampoo daily? Do you wash your clothes

regularly? What sort of detergants do you use for them? Do you work

in a place that produces environmental pollutants? Like dust, smoke,

chemicals?

The reason I ask these questions is the first thing that comes to my

mind is perhaps there is something getting on your skin that is not

being sufficiently removed regularly. Or that something has gotten

into your skin that isn't being removed conventionally.

The more we know, the better we can be of assistance.

Peace, love, laughter

If you are getting a rash you body is trying to rid itself of something from the inside. You really need to try an elimination diet. Eat only bananas for three days, eat as many as you like any time you like. Then add one food at a time back into your diet, each for three days. If you start to itch, then you know you are allergic to that food.

When I scratch myself I get dried skin under my fingernails, maybe it's just dried, dead skin under your nails.

Randolf,

You are the second person in the last week whom i have heard about

wiht symptoms similar to my own, with unknown cause, i have yet to

fully get to the source but here are my findings and what i have

tried for relief. Yes i suspect stress is a huge factor, and unless

i go live under a rock, stress will be something i have to deal

with. Anyway here is what i have found and i hope some or all can

help you too?

Over-the-counter medicines - everything, and nothing topical has

helped.

Herbal topicals from health food store Calendula to ...everything -

no help.

Trip to 2 doctors: - NO HELP

What did make a difference:

1. Bendryl orally 1 hour before bed - so that i would not scratch the

itchies in my sleep and create sores. I know Bendryl is bad, but

scrathcing myself raw is much worse in my opinion ,as then i have to

deal with open sores as well as rash.

2. I noticed a pattern in flare-ups after: Sugar, spices (including

really hot/spicy stuff with cayenne - like Thai cuisine), so if

possible try to minimize this type of food, especially before bed.

3. Bathing - After trying a ton of stuff, arrived at Plain old Pine

Tar soap. Dr Bronners Lavender soap worked well, but it was drying

my skin too much. Also, Neem/Oatmeal soap worked well, but kind of

similar to Dr B's - too much drying. So i am using the Pine tar Soap

Shoulder to toe and it really does cool the itch well. I am using

Olive Oil Soap bar on face and delicate areas.

4. After bath, i use aloe gel mixed with a bit of Goldenseal &

Propolis tinctures. The aloe helps the itch and the Goldenseal and

propolis are helping my skin from getting more irriated/infected.

5. A dash of baking soda in with my baby mild detergent when washing

my laundry.

6. And this was the most important: A complete body cleanse. after

i did the liver cleanse, i noticed things improved greatly. I got

the itch to a managable tingle. And plan to do another full cleanse

again in a week or two.

7. Upped my daily water intake. I backed off a bit and things heated

up again.

Each person if different of course, so Its like trying to determine

alergies, looking at yourself and life under a microscope and then

trying to figure out by elimination which things have an effect.

Good luck in your discovery and recovery.

Randolf, Please do not be offended... In cases of the skin there can be a number of causes. From not bathing everyday to the type of soap you use to being allergic to a fabric, to a laundry soap...etc... meant no disrespect.. . some soaps etc have chemicals that can aggrevate a person.... Even the water... whether it be from the city works, or the river, or a well... can sometimes be a factor. I know of a person who had a reaction to a combination of her soap and water... apparently there was a chemical change in her water supply which reacted with the type of soap she was using. None of us can "affectively" help you if we don't know everything ... we could give you ideas on what we would do for ourselves given the few bits of information we have... but it may not be an accurate help. If you look back in the message archives, we usually ask extensive questions

relating to what the problem is that someone is having. Suzirandolf_everywhere <walkingthe@...> wrote: >I regard some questions as disrespect. So finish it for the future.>

I sincerely apologize for coming across as disrespectful!

I see that you have been a member since 10/24/04, and set to " special

notices " . I can only assume that you have been at least " parusing " or

looking at the posts on occassion.

That being the case, you will, in approx. three years of notice, see

that this list does indeed ask difficult questions, but with the most

Noble of Reasons. And you also must have noticed that I hold no ill

will toward any member of this list.

I also see that you have responded positively to other members of

this list, they having asked many queries of the same venue that I

have. I can appreciate the feeling of comfort with one as opposed to

another.

I can also appreciate that, as I have opened myself up to a VERY

personal degree to them myself on many occassions, " baring my soul "

as it were, my life was LITERALLY saved simply and only because I

opened up to them.

I will remove myself from this thread of converse publically. Please

be encouraged by your participation here!

A man traveling across a field encountered a tiger. He fled, the

tiger after him. Coming to a precipice, he caught hold of the root of

a wild vine and swung himself over the edge.

The tiger sniffed at him from above. Trembling, the man looked down

to where, far below, another tiger was waiting to eat him. Only the

vine sustained him.

Two mice, one white and one black, little by little started to gnaw

away the vine. The man then saw a luscious strawberry near him.

Grasping the vine with one hand, he plucked the strawberry with the

other.

How sweet it tasted.

Dear Randolf,

I have read all your posts. I think

you have eczema. You can look this up on the internet. It is a

common skin condition. It is very itchy and comes and goes, just like you

describe. Try not to scratch. Use basic soaps with no perfumes or

dyes if you can get them where you live. Use lotion or cream after you

wash. Lotion or cream without perfumes or dyes is best. For your

stress, take deep breaths, try to meditate daily, or do something that is

relaxing for you. Everyone needs something that makes them feel

good. For me it is this list, my computer games, and books to read.

I have a cousin from Thailand.

I remember her dad bringing us such beautifully made things from that

country. I hope you are feeling better today.
