Guest guest
Since so many of you were kind in offering help with my gallbladder stones and pain and awfulness - I wanted to let you know that I am doing very well. I continued to work through it - learning to throw my mind during attacks, concentrate on moving forward, and continued giving therapy to others - every day. I lost some weight which was good too. Even my joints are feeling better. Thanks for all the good advice. I'm starting to have food cravings again and I am watching the types of foods the body asks for and how my tastes are changing. Oddly, my system has reverted to how it was when I was a child (up to 7 years.) By the age of 8 a chiropractor had worked on me and I was able to hold down fatted foods and started gaining weight. Now foods that caused problems before the age of 8 are my enemies again. This seems very strange to me...but also refreshing...I often had wished my parents were content with me looking like a " poster child " and hadn't had the good doctor mess with my glands. For a while - since the recent attacks - all I wanted was lots of raw vegetable juices. Then my body and tastes started to change after I started feeling stronger again. Although I occassionally crave dark chocolate and sparkling water now - breads and sweets in general are of no interest. Also, I have a hard time even looking at any kind of pork and I used to love crisp bacon so much that I was a turkey bacon junky...not anymore. Just the smell of bbq pork or any cooking pork makes me turn the other way. Unfortunately, a colleague who coincidentally had attacks at the same time I did (we did not discover this until two weeks past and she had surgery to remove her GB) is having phantom attacks and has gone back to see the doctor with no relief. I'm awaiting an update from her. - Doll.
