A couple other flea helpers - not herbal but pet safe. Food-grade

diatomaceous earth works great, both in food and on the ground. Tip

for diatomaceous earth (or DE)...if the bag doesn't say food grade, it

isn't. Diatomaceous earth also is found with swimming pool products in

many home improvement stores; that's not the kind to get. Feed stores

carry it and it can be ordered online.

Borax sprinkled onto carpeting, bedding, etc., " walked in, " and

vacuumed or swept works well inside and at doorways. A few drops of

essential oil or some dried crushed herbs mixed into borax makes it

smell good, too.
