Thanks Ginny for the info on raspberries - I'm going to get some today,

what the heck, can't do me any harm. Anything I can do to avoid treatment

and thus far (4 years now) have been without and I still have my energy. I

have follicular mixed cell NHL and feel fortunate for each day the Lord

gives me to better myself. I do take mega doses of Vit C which I think

plays an important factor - I never get sick.

Judy....I don't know just where this particular info on raspberries comes from, but here is ton, S.C., there is a Dr. Nixon who is head of a department at the Medical University of South Carolina (843-792-2300). I believe it is the " Nutrition " Department. He is a very well respected doctor and has been doing research with raspberries with a grant from the raspberry growers for several years. He has some astounding evidence that raspberries do indeed put cancer in remission....not sure if this applies across the board to all cancers, but you can call Dr. Nixon's office at MUSC and get more information. If you are unable to get through to him, you might try the Hollings Cancer Center, also at MUSC, or if this also fails, email me at vdarby@... and I will get further info for you...I am at MUSC often. Judy....I don't have much info on the raspberries, just know that Dr. Nixon

has spoken to a lot of groups here in ton and has an impressive

record....Just wanted to say that I THINK it is the seeds that do the job,

so don't juice them and throw away the seeds! There is a good bit of

interest in the raspberries so I am going to call Dr. Nixon's office

tomorrow and try to get copies of his reports. I'll let you know when I

have them....Ginny

Uhh, soy??

I dunno if that's such a great idea....

Soybeans Linked To Brain Atrophy & Cell Death

http://starbulletin.com/1999/11/19/news/story4.html

and http://www.sightings.com/health3/soybad.htm

It seems that a main phytochemical in soybeans, genistein, reduces DNA

synthesis in the brain, and reduced DNA synthesis promotes apoptosis, which

is also known as " programmed cell death. " Multiple studies I found indicate

that drug-induced reduction of DNA synthesis is routinely assoicated with

reduced cell proliferation and death. DNA synthesis is a critical part of

the life cycle of a cell:

http://www.geocities.com/CollegePark/Lab/1580/cycle2.gif

http://www.geocities.com/CollegePark/Lab/1580/cycle.html

It appears that the ability of genistein to reduce DNA synthesis may be why

it is a promising anti-cancer agent, for research suggests genistein can

kill cancer cells and other drugs that reduce DNA synthesis kill cancer

cells. Unfortunately, genistein's cytotoxic properties appear to be

nonspecific, ie, it doesn't only kill cancer cells.

....... there's more. Read at the sites....

" I have a punnent a day " what is a punnent? Can the raspberries be

frozen(they are a lot less expensive frozen) and of course raspberries have

a short season I believe. Are you taking this for cancer? I have breast

cancer.Did you Dr. say they were good for all kinds of cancer???? Judy

There is a component in soybean that acts as an antineoplaston, and I

heard of people who have recovered from cancer by using soybean powder. It

is sold in health food stores, or in grocery stores that has bins for

grains, etc. You can also juice soybean, but I would recommend soaking it

with silver, such as WaterOz's silver to avoid fungal/bacterial

contamination.

By antineoplaston, I mean a substance which inhibits the growth or spread

of tumors/cancers, much like Benefin shark cartilage or Dr. Burzynski's

antineoplaston.

I found some stories on soybean which I feel is meant to " scare " one away

from taking the product. This fear tactic is a propaganda technique

commonly used by communists and, in this country, by the news media to get

certain legislation through Congress. [The gun control law is an example.

Remember that gun control, euthanasia (killing of the sick, weak,

helpless), and abortion [killing of unborn] were enacted prior to Hitler's

takeover. The very same scheme that worked in Germany has been tried to a

very successful extent in America as testified by a man who lived through

Hitler's regime.]

Since antineoplastons are THOUGHT (not proven) to stop blood vessels from

forming, there is caution to give antineoplastons such as shark cartilage

to children. Such was the case when a woman approached Dr. Lane to treat

her child who had cancer. Dr. Lane told the mother what might possibly

happen, but the mother was insistent that he treat her child. Apparently,

another woman had lost her child to cancer after deciding on conventional

medicine to Designer Foods, and she now recommended the second mother to

Dr. Lane.

The boy was put on Benefin Shark Cartilage, and when Dr. Lane saw him many

months later, he was cured of cancer and NORMAL IN EVERY WAY. His growth

was NOT STUNTED as probably would have happened if he had undergone

radiation. Below are links to two antineoplastons.

To Judy Hoffman; whoever you are. Thanks for the info on rasberries -- and

flax seed. We are working on that now.

My heart breaks at this website -- there are so many folks out here

suffering and wanting to communicate with others to share their ordeals and

tribulations -- and it seems that this site has been turned into a public

forum in which representatives of various products can argue the pros and

cons of their wares. I really don't think this is what our webmaster had in

mind when this site was created. What say, you Bob Hurt?

If anyone is interested in more info on the raspberry thing go to

www.red-raspberry.com and the whole story is there or most of it anyhow and

it doesn't matter if the raspberries are cooked or frozen it still has the

ellagaic acid which is the part you want. I'm incorporating the raspberrys

in with my half a cup of lowfat organic cottage cheese and the 4 tablespoons

of high lignan flaxseed oil and some bannana . I have this for breakfast

every morning and it is delicious!!!! A lot of people are doing the flaxseed

oil and cottage cheese but hardly anyone mentions the fact that it is best

if you use the flax seed oil that says HIGH LIGNAN on the bottle as the

lignans are the very thing that are so important. Bye for now Judy Hoffman

Dear Judy,

A punnet is around 150grams a day.

Yes you can buy the frozen product, however do not cook them.

I am 27 years old with a secondary deposit of cervical cancer in my lung. I

have changed my diet dramatically and I also have the Raspberries because of

their properties.

I believe this therapy is good for all types of cancer.

Regards Charmaine

Raspberries Did you know that berries, such as raspberries, rank at the top of the list of foods high in antioxidant activity and have been related to a reduced risk of both cancer and heart disease? Raspberries are rich in phytonutrients such as ellagic acid, which is considered to be largely responsible for their antioxidant activity. Ellagic acid helps prevent unwanted damage to cell membranes and other structures in the body by neutralizing overly reactive oxygen-containing molecules called free radicals. Raspberries also contain flavonoid phytonutrients, such as quercetin, kaempferol and anthocyanins, which provide unique antioxidant and antimicrobial properties, and give raspberries their beautiful red coloration. They also help prevent the overgrowth of certain bacteria and fungi in the body, such as Candida albicans. Fresh foods contain the most nutrients, and fresh raspberries are only available during a short growing season, so be sure

to enjoy them now.! They are a wonderful addition to your breakfast cereal or serve them with creamy yogurt for a real dessert treat! Suzi What is a weed? A plant whose virtues have not yet been discovered. health/ http://suziesgoats.wholefoodfarmacy.com/ http://360./suziesgoats
