Guest guest
Suzi, 3 1/2 months later with this pain in her stomach or intestines. No she has not tried slippery elm gruel. Didn't even know of it. Gloria suggested bentonite and daughter tried it for a week taking probiotics at same time. She also went on a 3 day " green drink " only fast too. She is going to an acupuncturist and so far we were thinking results, but now back to square one. Tomorrow appt. with gynecologist to see what he thinks and probably consultation so that means another visit before she gets tests done. She's in lots of pain tonight, having problems sleeping tonight and most nights because of the stomach pains (she's not talking about burning so not sure if that is happening or not). Her husband has a cold and he blows his nose so that he sounds like a horn and the whole house would shake. As a result it wakes her up regardless of what room she sleeps in. It is just not a pretty thing not to sleep for past 3 1/2 months for 7 hours, but gets very little. She is in TX. I suggested she come here, get all her tests done here and I can help with our 2 1/2 year old darling talkative grandbaby. She's not ready to do that and has little support sadly from hubby who is mainly clueless. He could take a 2 hour nap daytime, end up going to bed at night, and the grandbaby waking up and my daughter is the one jumping up. He could also sit in the the massage chair, for 30-60 minutes, then hop onto couch, sleep 2 hours and she is up all that time caring for the child. She has just one but is very overwhelmed. No she has not taken teas for nerves. At my house it is easier for me to care for her and the grandbaby for weeks too vs. her place which is not like home. Hopefully she will have answers tomorrow and will be taken in for immediate testing for upper/lower GI and whatever else she needs for answers.... I'll keep you posted. Thanks for suggestions always. Never assume I remembered. hugs, carolg > > My daughter is dealing with ongoing mystery problem I posted about: > pains/burning in her stomach, 3+ months, lost 20 pounds as slim > person originally, doing probiotics, doing herbs from acupuncturist, > can't eat much, tests showing maybe IBS (irritable bowel), has been > to acupuncture and the practioner not seeing results he said--he > said it may be in the uterus and needs a gyncologist exam, she still > has to have upper and lower GI done, hardly sleeps, has 2 year old > active kid, little support at home in TX, has been on a green drink > 3 day fast, and still at square one. Guest guest
A spastic colon does not burn..just pain... off to the left of stomach and down, sort of. Could be polyps even.. It would be good for her to go find out so that it can be treated properly. Right now we are all somewhat guessing. Keep us posted Carol. suzicgiambri <cgiambri@...> wrote: Suzi,3 1/2 months later with this pain in her stomach or intestines. No she has not tried slippery elm gruel.
