Guest guest
Gloria's farmer's market is fabulous, cheap and she can get lots of organics usually there. We used compared notes to see who did better at the F. Market. I think Gloria is close to skin and bones thinking she is maybe 100 pounds or so. I do remember reading that if you have cancer you want to take it easy on fruits and limit them. I believe it is the sugar we are talking about as the culprit. Maybe someone can share more on this. hugs, carolg > > Well like I said I'm going tomorrow so let me know who is going to send it > to her. or we could both send her some and then she would really have > enough. Guest guest
At this point, the juicing may be more of the cleanse for her to start off with. I never remember Dr. Lorraine Day in person, few times seeing her, or in her video or way back in her chats, to indicate any cleanses other than the juicing and also the green powders. The cleanses Anne talks about makes lots of sense to me, but with Gloria alone, etc. it may not be the most do-able at this point. She is in a frail " state " obviously after surgery. The cleanses Anne spoke off I hope Anne can give more insight about those and her suggestions too. Yes, I would tend to think " green--for life " and less carrots, but some beets, some red peppers, cabbages as part of the juciing-- variety. Not sure if the juicing is a reality, but a full time job for someone which is hard to count on family/friends to commit to 7 days a week. I think she may own Champion juicer. Regardless it's a juicer. Dr. Day, at this link is endorsing yes to more carrot juice. I suppose she changed her mind. http://cancertutor.com/Cancer02/LorraineDay.html " (Supercharging This Treatment This is a superb treatment she has put together. I would rank it as a " strong " Stage III treatment. However, I do not think it works fast enough for someone who has had orthodox treatments and has been sent home to die. These people have virtually zero immunity, may have cachexia, etc. and need a lot of potent and fast acting supplements to get them over the hump of the damage done by orthodox medicine. I also do not think it works fast enough for those with certain types of cancer (e.g. pancreatic), fast growing cancers and some brain cancers. However, her treatment can be supercharged, even for those who do use it. For example, her carrot juice could be supercharged with beet juice and cabbage juice, which also contain strong anti-cancer nutrients. Other vegetables could also be added. But the juice should remain dominated by carrot juice.) " So here we go...confusing to say the least, but I am still thinking " green is life. " I think Dr. Day said 13 glasses of juice, believe it was 4 ounces or maybe it was 8 ounces. I'm not sure on the ounces....I don't know where to find the ounce information out further at this point. treatments at her website: http://cancertutor.com/index.html#Treatments Essiac is on list. hugs, carolg > > Okay.green veggies works for me.
