Guest guest
Gloria update: She has tons of books. She has CD player. She has a TV as we talk about Oprah shows. Can use some serene, New Age healing music, CD. If someone buys please post name so we don't duplicate efforts. Oh, she loves macro foods so she didn't say but maybe ingredients for macro dishes like sesame seeds perhaps, seaweeds, dried mushrooms is what I was thinking. She didn't mention but Ernie's wife has been preparing some Macro meals so I know that can help. Fundraisers being planned: chicken one coming up. Youth from a local church and some volunteers going out to cut down trees, clean inside, etc. Bathroom being worked out and tub coming up to become shower. Roof repair--person needs only charge for materials and not services. Well, that's it for the short time we spoke. Tomorrow going to call again. Sunflower Markets: If you are near one, they rock in prices and organic. Gayla, thanks for salve suggestion. Will look at your email later. Hubby's doing well with that Eczederm Rescue, but I would love to make my own. Hugs to you all, carol > > I'll look around and see what I can find. She probably has one at the rehab place. Why not give her a portable CD/DVD player, though? They're a little more expensive, but you can also hook them up to a TV if you want to. So you get the best of both worlds. > > > > I would be happy to split the cost with you. And, if Gloria doesn't have a TV at her house, I have one in my PA house that is just sitting there doing nothing. A nice sized one with a built-in VCR and DVD player. All we have to do is figure out how to get it to her. (The house is vacant and about 45+ minutes from Reading, where she is.and I'm in Florida.) > > > > OTOH, I just bought a very cheap portable CD player at BJ's.I think it was only $20 or so. Might be the way to go. > > > > Sharyn >
Guest guest
Oh that's wonderful then. I'll just put together a little care package for her then, so that she can pamper herself a bit once she's settled in at home. Thank you for letting me know. I have tons of beautiful meditation music and it sounds beautiful. So maybe I can copy a few of them for her. Guest guest
I normally don't respond to my own posts but I have a question that I forgot to ask. You say that Gloria has a CD player. Does she have a DVD player? Still haven't been able to get hold of her by phone to ask. Thanks. Beannacht Lynn
