Suzi,

Dr. visit and the rn there said " no " to epsom salt baths in hot or

warm water as it brings out the rash in this case. RN had some

problem.

Right now the goal is control the spreading so this new dose

of " poison " Predisone is supposed to do the trick plus the Benadryl

before bed.

So today bought tons of carrots, some dandeloins and got lots of

other veggies to start adding juicing in.

Gotta build up the system after it is poisoned up. He's still doing

the garlic capsules and the probiotics however.

Dr. thought probiotics great idea, but surely would not tell

patients if it was not brought up.

So that's the update.

Thanks always for replies and wisdom.

interesting.. makes sense in a way... he has the rash and this would bring it out more... glad he is getting better... how about oatmeal bath for the itching? Suzi,

I would think the oatmeal would cake up without the hot water to

float in? Not sure if he would do it either. He's not the easiest

patient to wait on and he said he is glad I am not a nurse because I

am too pushy as he keeps saying no to everything.

Now he is saying we need to start juicing again. Yes, I'm ready and

bought the stuff today.

All:

Thanks for your support.

Off to 24 Fitness to exercise the body. Yoga class tonight. Last

night I tried hip hop. I was the oldest one in class and surely the

one who did not have the most, but probably least fun trying to get

the moves. Shall I return next Wed. eve. for another class? I must

say I practiced today at home and seemed to have had overnight

success already.

Carol, cool baths or compresses are best

for this type of rash.  Baking soda and water work really well or you can buy

colloidal oatmeal like Aveno bath, which dissolves in water fairly well.  I

like calamine lotion too. Ooooooh I am getting itchy just thinking about it!

I don't know if he asked about calamine lotion. My daughter and I

talked about it.

My son is local---totally clueless on what is going on here and I am

solo and my daughter is long distance who is thinking calamine too.

I will keep you all posted. Thanks Janet.

He had two large bowls of soup, several bottles of water and little

urination.....something is not kosher and it's the drugs reaction on

his body....
