She has organized much-needed repairs on Gloria’s house (and is lobbying for Gloria to have a couple of weeks in a rehab center after the hospital so that the work can be done before she comes home), getting daily after-care for Gloria, etc. She is collecting money from local churches for repairs and for Gloria’s expenses, such as paying her mortgage at present. Debra asks that those who are sending cards with cash or checks to please not send them to Gloria right now. It’s too hard to keep track of what’s coming in under the present circumstances. So…I told her I would ask that any cards with cash or checks be sent to Gloria in care of me and then I will pass them on to Debra to give to Gloria. I hope that’s okay with everyone. This is a big project and all assistance is much appreciated.
