Guest guest
About plums. Yes, over-ripe ones can and usually do cause the scoots. That is not necessarily a bad thing. After all, it helps get rid of built up clogs and rotting foods trapped in the folds of the bowels. My wife and I do a three day juice cleanse (in the Files of the list) once a month, and prune juice is the first thing we are to drink every morning of the cleanse. Talk about not leaving the house!!! We can't be 5 feet from an available bathroom at any given moment, it seems like. Did you know that 3 small plums equal one daily portion of fruit? That plums are LOADED with anti-oxidants? That plums are a good source of fiber--both soluble and insoluble--about three grams in a five-plum serving? Plums also supply boron, copper, iron, magnesium and potassium. I would avoid store bought dried plums from most Asian countries, though. There are some studies indicating that some contain high levels of lead. So be careful! Peace, love, laughter 5 of 27, Tertiary Adjunct of UniMatrix H.A.W.K.
