Senior Programme/Programme Officer: Clinical Services Full-time or part-time (Salary from Rs.477,377 / 392,366 pa) This is a key role in the programme team with scope to make a major contribution to the Alliance’s work in India. The individual will lead the development of clinical services (VCT, STIs, ARVs, community preparedness for ARVs, HIV/AIDS & TB) across Alliance programmes; promote innovation and good practice; lead & manage capacity development & technical support to programme staff & partner NGOs; provide technical expertise for policy and programme work; and, support new programme development. Requirements include MBBS or equivalent qualification; atleast 6 years’ relevant experience; knowledge of relevant clinical issues and debates; and, experience of providing technical support to NGOs. Programme Officer: Children (Salary from Rs.392,366/- pa) The individual will develop the Alliance’s work on child-centred HIV/AIDS policy & programming; promote innovation and good practice; lead & manage capacity development & technical support to programme staff & partner NGOs; and, support new programme development. Requirements include at least 4 years’ experience of child-centred policy and/or programme work; experience of working with children; understanding of relevant children’s issues; post-graduate/Masters degree in Social Sciences / Public health / other relevant field; and, preferably HIV/AIDS programme experience. IT/Communications Officer (Salary from Rs.322,500/- pa) The individual will develop & maintain the network and server resources, including all hardware & software; create, design & maintain the website; assess staff IT needs; and, provide technical support & training to staff in Delhi & Hyderabad. Requirements: MCSE Certification, particularly in MS Exchange, IIS & Windows 2000 Server; sound knowledge in computer hardware & networking, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, ASP.Net with; 4-5 years’ proven experience in managing networks, LAN/ WAN & web design preferred. Assistant to the Director (Salary from Rs.246,958/- pa) The Assistant will support the work of the Director and the Management Team, which includes overall strategic leadership and management of the organisation, planning, organisational development, and external relations. The Assistant will also undertake special projects. Requirements: Degree in relevant discipline & Diploma in Business Management (MBA preferred), advanced skills in MS Office, excellent administrative and organizational skills, and minimum 5 years’ relevant experience. Ability to exercise diplomacy and discretion very important. All posts require a strong commitment to HIV and development work with a community orientation, good English and Hindi language competence, excellent inter-personal and computer skills. Salary package commensurate with qualifications and experience.
