Guest guest Posted January 7, 2002 Report Share Posted January 7, 2002 , Thanks so much for your nice words. it is so true about braces, glass eyes, etc...I would like to ask my insurance company if they will pay for a special bicycle helmet for my son when we can't find one that fits. I think I will site Washington state law about the law of required bicycle helmets on everyone. It kills me that they consider correcting something abnormal into normal cosmetic. Even braces shouldn't be considered cosmetic because crooked teeth are not normal, braces should be reconstructive as well, also everything else you mentioned. Like I said before, Regence doesn't know who they're dealing with. Their denial letter doesn't state good enough reason for them not to cover this.
