Guest guest
I take to a DO for cranial manipulation every 3 to 4 weeks as well as seeing a craniosacral therapist every two weeks in between his visits. I also have in a DOCband since 10/5/01. He has seen quite a bit of improvement. I don't know which one to attribute to the success but I do think the combination works well. The plastic surgeon I went to who prescribed the band said that cranial manipulation only works as much as the scar tissue will allow it to. I do know we saw quite a bit of improvement within the first two weeks in the band and at the 2 and a 1/2 month visit measurements showed an improvement in his cranial vault asymmetry from 16mm to 6mm. My DO is against the band also but my craniosacral therapist is amazed at the results we have had with it and wants to recommend it now to some other patients. I wanted to believe cranial manipulation would correct the problem alone but unwilling to wait and see. Guest guest
Thanks for sharing your info. We have decided to do both the band (at night) and see the DO every 3-4 weeks for the cranial manipulations. Hopefully the combo will work since Zach is already 13 months old. Thanks again!!
