Guest guest
Kay the best thing to do is interview the orthotists and make sure you are comfortable with his/her experience and success. Any device can be successful if the fit is proper and the orthotists knows what they are doing. Attached is a link of questions that you might want to ask-also there is a link to compare difference devices and a link to the plagio files. If you feel good about your ortho and trust your DR's advice then you should be fine. Also see if there are any other families that you could talk to that have worked with them-this might help. Best of luck! Guest guest
Kay, My daughter wore a helmet that sounds like it works in the same way that yours will. These work very well especially on younger children. Many specialists prefer them because they do not apply direct pressure on the baby's head. Since your baby is so young you should have very good luck with your helmet. If your orthotist is experienced (and it sounds like he is) then your product should be effective. Good luck and don't worry - some people do have bad experiences, but most do not. If your ortho is experienced and you are vigilant about asking questions and expecting answers you should be fine.
