Guest guest
That is great , I am so glad you are pumped up. I was a little bummed today. I peeked again after I said I wouldnt and got on the scale. a few of the water pounds were right back on my belly. but that is ok I didnt let it get me down to much, I ate like I should for the most part and even worked out to a song today. baby steps. LOL I did eat a little to much for dinner (slow cooked pot roast) but I didnt eat near as much as I could have. I LOVE roast. but I did double up on the corn so I would get a little more full on it then the roast. Rally's is a fast food place just like Mcdonalds and s BUT they dont have ANY thing on their menu that has an ounce of health in it, It is all grease and fat. In other states they have a sister company called Checkers you might have one of them near you. I do talk to my Mom everyday but it was nice to go and sit in her store and eat with her with the kids in school, and just me and her. We dont always get that time with the hours she works and then me and my family. But we still get together and things its just for now I cant go to her job for fear of tempation. Hope we both have a good day tomorrow.
Guest guest
I never heard of Rally's or Checkers but I did see the points to some items from Rally's. They are pretty high. http://www.dwlz.com/Restaurants/rallys.html Re: (Myssi) Rally's is a fast food place just like Mcdonalds and s BUT they dont have ANY thing on their menu that has an ounce of health in it, It is all grease and fat. Guest guest
Hi Myssi, Sorry you were bummed today. I kind of want to peek today, but I am trying really really really hard not to, since I just weighed in yesterday. I am sure it couldn't have changed that much in a day, but oh how I would love to see. Baby steps is right. I have to take things one thing at a time too. That dinner sounds great. I just love roast. I never make it myself. Don't know why, but some times my mother will have us over to her house for dinner and it is soooooooo good. That is a very hard thing to stop eating. So I commend you on not going over board with it. As far as Rally's goes, what would happen if you went to visit your mom, but took along something healthy to munch on while you are there. That way you have some thing to eat. I don't know if that would help with the temptation or not. It was just a thought. I'm not as pumped up today as I was yesterday. Maybe it is because I only woke up about an hour ago and I am not a morning person. Maybe things will get better as the day goes on. It is supposed to snow outside today. Don't think we have seen snow here since November. If it snows enough, maybe my husband and I can go out and play in it. Maybe that will be a form of exercise too. Well, I hope that you have a very good day today.
Guest guest
I tried to look for their food values today and could not find it. What are the points for?
Guest guest
the funniest thing happened. I have been bumming over not going to get to eat with my Mom and today I learned she gave her two week notice! Guess I dont have to worry about being tempted any longer. I had an ok day today, I have been very hungry ALL day. I have tried to snack healthy but I am not getting full for some reason. Oh well, tomorrow is another day. Hopefully I wont be so hungry tomorrow. Hope that you had a good day.

Guest guest
Hi , Nope i didnt get enough water. I never get enough water. I HATE it. I did get two glasses yesterday but that was being forced and most of the consumption came from ice. Drinking water to me is like drinking gasoline. I have cut out all other drinks but crystal light (Kroger brand) and added a little extra water to it, and of course my coffee in the AM. I am slowly trying to add more water but right now that to me is harder than the exersice.
Guest guest
LOL - I hear you - I am a cola addict! I tried drinking water ice cold, room temp etc anyway to get it in. Eventually it got easier - on a good day I finish my 64 ounce jug 2x a day. It took a long time and I'm down to 3 colas a day - still too much but I can't handle the headaches etc - so I plan the calories. --- Myssi <justmyssi@...> wrote: > Hi , Nope i didnt get enough water. Guest guest
I understand the comparison of water like drinking gasoline. This is hard for me as well. The only thing that gets me through it is setting the microwave kitchen timer and just chugging a large glass (16oz capacity) in one go each hour. And as I heard that drinking about 10 glasses a day is just enough for your body to stay healthy in a hydrated sort of way, it's said you need to drink about 18-22 glasses a day just to push yourself past hydration and into losing water weight. I hate doing it. After all those cups I had yesterday I could barely stomach the idea of doing it again today but I know for me I HAVE to force myself. I'm not a sipper, like I said I just down it and move on. I want the weight loss so bad that I will DO it just for that reason. Guest guest
I like my soda, but for some reason I am not craving it. Now my coffee is another story. UGH I am soooo rotten without my coffee.
Guest guest
Maybe I will try a timer and see if that works for me too. I think I will start with 1-2 dings a day and see if I can do it. Maybe I can work my way up to more.
Guest guest
I use a thin slice of lemon or lime... seems to help me gives it some flavor anyway... Guest guest
Hi Myssi, Maybe your mom will get a job that doesn't have to do with food and you will get to visit her then. That is interesting that you were having this problem and now she is giving her two weeks notice. My niece's birthday is today and tonight we are going to Garfield's to celebrate. I am not sure what kind of food they have there. I have only eaten there a couple times a few years ago. 340/313.7/135 Re: (Myssi) the funniest thing happened.
