Ahmedabad, Oct. 8. (PTI): India was 60 for 1 in 23.2 overs in the

first cricket Test match against New Zealand at the Sardar Patel

Stadium, Motera here today.

R Dravid and A Chopra are at the crease. India had won the toss and

had elected to bat.

The Kiwi's stuck to the same 11 which played against India 'A' in the

three-day match at Rajkot while the Indian playing eleven was

announced yesterday with Avishkar Salvi, Sairaj Bahutule and Yuvraj

Singh on the reserve bench.

Meanwhile, an AIDS affected boy, Umesh Patel, tossed the coin in the

morning as part of the BCCI's participation in the UN-AIDS programme.
