Mahathir says India should export HIV/AIDS medicines

Bali, Oct. 8. (UNI): India should be allowed to export its HIV/AIDS

medicines if they meet international standards, Malaysian Prime

Minister Mahathir bin Mohamed said today.

Speaking at the India-ASEAN Summit here, he lauded the achievements

made by India in the health and medicine sector.

India has been producing world class pharmaceuticals and it should be

permitted to export HIV/AIDS medicines if they meet international

standards, the Malaysian Prime Minister added.
