Guest guest
Hi again! I was wondering if anyone has had their child treated by a DO with cranial manipulation therapy (cranial sacral therapy) for Plagiocephaly and what your results were? We took my son to a DO that specializes in this treatment this morning and he does not like the idea of children wearing the bands; he says it forces the tissues and bones. He spent almost an hour with Zachary and seemed to have a wealth of knowledge on Plagiocephaly and said he has treated several babies with it. So I guess I am wondering if we should do both the helmet and see the DO once every 3-4 weeks? Thanks in advance for you help! Guest guest
Lou, Cranio Sacral seems to have worked with my in the sense of relaxation- but I don't know about as an only form of treatment. Did the DO offer any before and after pics? ' Mom
Guest guest
, I didn't even think to ask about seeing any before and after pictures. Thanks for suggesting that. I will look into that. We have decided to do both the cranial band (my son can only wear it at night because his glasses and the band will not fit at the same time) and see the DO every 3-4 weeks for the cranial sacral therapy. I will let you know what the results are. Thanks again!
